Treatment Group

METIV is opening Short term, focused, treatment group for those coping with a traumatic event.

Target Audience
The group is targeted for people (over 18) who have experienced a traumatic event in which the consequences disturb daily functioning, and their spauses.

The Group
Every candidate will be personally interviewed by a staff member to check his / her  suitability to the group.
The participants will learn to process their traumatic experience through various tools, including non-verbal techniques, in a warm and supportive environment.
Each group will have 12 gatherings – once a week, for two and a half hours.
The group will be guided by a trained therapist: Shlomit Chava, trauma therapist, and Tami Ainstein, art therapist.

All work is in Hebrew.

All group discussion will be kept confidential.
